What we collect
- What you give us on the matching form: ZIP code, state, name, email, phone number, how far along your idea is, and your consent to be contacted.
- Technical data: your IP address, the page you submitted from, and the time of your request. We use these for security and to prevent spam.
We don't ask for details of your invention, and we ask you not to send them.
How we use it
- To match you with an independent patent attorney and pass your contact details to them.
- To contact you by phone, email or text about your request, with your consent.
- To keep records of your request in our customer management system.
- For Sale By Inventor, another Montgomery IP Associates company, may contact you about optional marketing services. You can ask us not to, at any time.
Who we share it with
- The attorney you're matched with, and if needed to find one, attorneys we approach about taking your request.
- Montgomery IP Associates and its companies, which share one customer management system.
- Service providers that run this site and our systems, including Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We don't sell your personal information.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. If spam protection is turned on, Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical data to check that you're a person.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to access, correct or delete your information, by emailing hello@patentattorneynetwork.com. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts.
Keeping it safe
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason not to send invention details through a web form.
